Raspberry Vinegar

Raspberry Vinegar

4 quarts of fresh berries
1 quart vinegar
1 lb sugar

Pour 1 quart (about 1 liter) of vinegar over 2 quarts of raspberries.
Cover and let stand for 2 days.
Drain, catching liquid.
Pour liquid over 1 quart of fresh raspberries.
Do this one more time.
Then strain the liquid (probably cheesecloth).
Add 1 lb (abt 1/2 kilo) of sugar to 1 quart of liquid.
Boil slowly for 5 minutes.
Skim liquid.
Let stand for 15 minutes, then bottle.
